We received as a gift the summer video monitor most ii years ago. Nosotros now need an additional video monitor for DC #2's room. Has anyone tried to add together a camera and switch dorsum and forth betwixt "A" and "B" for each room? Does it work?
Alternatively nosotros can buy the new multi-screen/ multi-camera monitor simply would prefer to avoid the actress expense if necessary.
Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it works. I have this camera and information technology'southward nice to be able to switch between the 2 channels to see the 2 kids. I call up one of the cameras may be going out though, considering I sometimes have to shake the handset to become the picture to come up in.

Could you please postal service the links to both monitors referred on this thread? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a new monitor, whether it's video or not for our 2d that's soon arriving.

You tin can merely hear the racket coming from the camera channel information technology'south set to. We have it for our twins and information technology's great. Their cribs are only 3 feet autonomously and then we don't have the problem -- we can hear both babies from any camera aqueduct is on.

This is pretty similar to the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/Summertime-Babe-Handheld-Monitor-Screen/dp/B0007OD8SU
I tin can only hear sounds from whatever channel it's currently on, unless someone is being actually loud in the next room.

We likewise accept this for our twins and love it. Nonetheless, they practise share a room and then we tin can hear all noises from either camera.

Nosotros take the camera these posters are referencing. It'due south the Summer Infant Day and Night. Note that you can purchase the monitor with the 2.v" screen or the 1.8" screen (you tin can also buy larger, not-mitt held screens). IMHO, the larger screen is much preferable, even if there's a price difference.

When we first had DS#one, we bought the Sony audio simply monitor (information technology was a relatively cheap device). After a couple of months, nosotros decided that it would exist more useful to have the summer baby video monitor. However, the Summer monitors accept horrible sound (constant static) so we ended up using both simultaneously. When DS#2 came along, nosotros bought some other camera. We take the sound and the video monitors in the baby's room and have the video on the toddler'southward room. The video is okay. In one case in awhile, we actually meet our neighbour's kid on one of the channel. Information technology's a bit freaky.
